EXCALIBUR • $6,500 • OR BEST OFFER! • Excalibur close to flying! The airplane was hangared, near completion when Hurricane Helene flooded our airfield. This airplane floated. We flushed the fuselage, tubing and wings. The engine (Hirth 3202) does not appear to have been exposed to water and was inspected and test run on June 21. The instruments and the radio lit up when powered but were not fully tested. Most engine instruments worked when the engine ran - plan on replacing them.
